Importance of Listening Hindi Stories in Hindi

The history of Hindi Story is not unlike the history of story telling itself. Story telling is a practice for ancient times. In ancient times children listened stories from their grandfather and grandmother. These old people had enough time of leisure so the children gathered around them and asked them to tell them an interesting story.

Story telling is not only a form of amusement and time killing but it also creates various abstracts in the mind of children. It also helps in concept formulation. If the story is told in the very language of the listeners it also enriches the vocabulary of the young children. Hindi is a rich language so the Hindi story makes good effect on the vocabulary of the children listening stores in Hindi. But above all a story told in proper manner decides proper development of emotions. Emotional development is good and necessary for a child successful future life. To take any responsibility in life emotional development is very necessary. So if the Hindi Speaking Children listen stories from their grand mother and grand father they also develop the emotions properly.
For the emotional development of children Hindi stories being told in Hindi are a good source. But for this the story teller has to create the emotions through gestures and facial expressions. The voice and various sounds are also fruitful if used while telling a story.
